This is a small collection of enemies for our videogame project - Super Soaper.
The first two - The Mantacles and Limaradons are what I personally refer to as "Filth monsters," creatures summoned from some other plane of existence and bound to our world to do some unseen master's bidding.
The third one - The Septist, is a human-based class of enemy. Mostly Comprised of disgruntled office workers, they're the cannon fodder marksmen of the organization. Equipped with repeating rifles that discharge caseless cartridges and old gear that has been plundered from local warehouses, the Septists are quite a formidable threat, especially when they provide cover fire for their monstrous "comrades."
Hopefully we'll have a prototype available sooner rather than later.
The reason this project is quite dear to me is that it allowed me to hone some of my modelling skills, and grow as an artist in general. The process of iteration, discussion, rigging, low poly modelling - these things are still somewhat new to me. The process also allowed me to come up with clever solutions to some of my problems. For example: To paint their textures, I had to devise a unique workflow that involves multiple blender addons combined with photoshop's layer based capabilities.
